Woodward Newsletter #31 - May 6, 2022
Hi Woodward families! Happy Mother’s Day!
This weekend, we are excited to appreciate, acknowledge, care for, and celebrate the important moms, grandmas, aunts, sisters, and women in our lives. Thank you for everything you do!
We are excited to bring back traditional and new experiences for our Wildcats this spring. Big Brothers of Vancouver started their Game On! program at Woodward this week for boys in grades 4-7. Our student leaders are busy planning their stations for Sports Day and preparing for our final spirit day. Our intermediate teachers are getting excited for our day at Camp Jubilee. We are all enjoying the training and practices for our Minoru track meet. Our Family Teams are also being reorganized and we are eager to plan one big event later this year. Our spring looks very busy but also a lot of fun. We look forward to sharing these events and experiences with you.
Have a great weekend!
Grade 7 Parent Volunteers Needed
Our grade seven parents help make our year end celebrations special. We need your help. If you are interested in supporting our events, please contact Bonnie Tan at poohus@hotmail.com.

Save the date! Our PAC and Woodward Elementary would like to invite you to a family picnic in the park on Friday, June 17. Bring your dinner and outdoor games to enjoy an evening with our Woodward community. More information will come at the beginning of June!
