Although the weather is a little grey and dreary, the learning and experiences at Woodward shine bright. We are looking forward to our learning in class, on field trips, and in the park. Parent Band Concert – June 9th at 1:45 p.m.

Our amazing band teacher, Mr. Milks, is opening the gym for all parents to attend a band concert from our grade 5/6 and 6/7 band classes. Please come to our gym at 1:45 p.m. on June 9th for this special performance. We look forward to seeing you next week!

Grade 7 Parent Volunteers Needed

Picnic in the Park – June 17

Save the date! Our PAC and Woodward Elementary would like to invite you to a family picnic in the park on Friday, June 17. Bring your dinner and outdoor games to enjoy an evening with our Woodward community. More information will come at the beginning of June!

COVID and Health and Safety Updates:

We all continue to have shared responsibility (staff, students, and families) to maintain and promote safe and healthy schools. In accordance with the updated provincial guidelines, all schools will continue to employ communicable disease measures to support a safe school environment and all schools will continue to adhere to the standards, guidelines, and protocols from the BC Centre for Disease Control and the Ministry of Education. Important personal health measures that continue to be employed include:

• Complete daily health check and stay home when ill
• Hand hygiene and respiratory hygiene are important throughout the day
• Vaccination is recommended for everyone who is eligible
• Respect personal space as much as possible
