This year staff are committed to engaging in professional development on early literacy intervention, literacy education, flexible learning spaces, and social-emotional learning. We are committed to participating in professional learning with colleagues throughout the district and within our own school. There will be a variety of sessions led by various Richmond teachers to learn from both experts and schools with similar goals. As well, we will have our own school-based Professional Development which will include learning around in these areas. Aside from our formal learning and growth, our professional inquiry groups often meet at lunch or afterschool to discuss our goals, progress, and areas of need. Through each initiative collaboration and engagement increase. Our school is excited to diversify our school story.
