Last Spring, our staff elected to shift our focus to teaching the notion of adopting a Growth Mindset, with a specific focus on improving Literacy Skills schoolwide.  

From the first day with students back in session, Woodward Staff have embraced the messaging of Growth Mindset (versus having a 'fixed mindset').  Teacher have shared with students 'the power of yet' and students have been focusing on adopting a more positive 'I can' approach to their work, learning about their emotions, and their overall behaviour in their play and in learning together.  We are excitedly embarked on our inquiry as a school story staff team, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the experiences and progress of each our learners.  We are pleased to share updates in our 'Action' and 'Evidence' areas at this time as we continue to explore and work together!
